How can I find out if the school is to be closed due to a heavy snowfall?

If you wake up one morning and find it has been snowing heavily overnight and getting children to school would be hazardous, tune into the local Sheffield radio programmes  for information about school closure.

Sheffield Hallam - FM 97.4 / 102.9 / 103.4

BBC Radio Sheffield - FM 104.1 / 88.6 / 94.7

If it starts to snow heavily during the day and looks like it is settling and is getting worse please contact the school. Depending on weather forecast information we may advise you to collect your child early.

We will only close the school if the safety of the children and staff is at risk.
